In 2022, Blind Sports & Rec offered Junior (10-18 year olds) and Senior (18+) Winter camps at Thredbo. Do you want to try it in 2023? Put in your EOI now!
Blind Sports & Recreation NSW/ACT are excited to be partnering with Disability Wintersports Australia to deliver a snow sports weekend where people living with blindenss or low vision can experience the adrenaline on heading down the ski slopes. Participants will have the option of experiencing skiing or snowboarding, with specialised instructors on hand to provide support throughout the camp.

- This event is strictly for particpants over the ages of 10, and there is no age limit.
- Due to the high volume of interest, all particpants will need to submit an application which will be accessed by a selection comittee who will then notify successful applicants and provide them with further infromation kits and payment details.
The program will include two full days of snow sports and campers will stay at the Jindabyne Sports and Recreation Centre and jump on the snow at Thredbo, NSW. Bus transport will be available to the venue from Strathfield Station on the first day and return on final afternoon.

The cost for the camp is ($TBC) per participants and campers can utilise their NDIS funds to attend the event. Camp fees are inclusive of the following:
- Accommodation
- Transport
- Lift passes, lessons and guiding
- Ski/snowboard and equipment hire
- National park entry
- Breakfast and Dinner
