Event information
Due to the closure of Myuna Bay Sport and Recreation Centre, Blind Sports NSW was forced to postpone the 2019 April Vision Camp.
The newly re-formatted Youth Vision Camp will now take place at Sydney Academy of Sport in Narrabeen from Friday 7th - Monday 10th June, 2019.
This camp is open to students aged 10 to 19 with a vision impairment or blindness. Campers will experience a variety of sporting and recreational activities including basketball, cricket, futsal, goalball, touch football and an off-site activity at Sydney's Northern Beaches. In addition to the recreational activities on offer, the camp will also involve a number of social interaction events such as trivia night, drama games and disco night.
The sporting sessions will allow campers to receive introductory coaching in an adaptive environment, with inclusion matches to be played on the Sunday afternoon and Monday morning of camp.
The cost per participant is $400 inclusive of accommodation/linen, all meals and activities, as well as transport to and from Strathfield Train Station (if required).
Places are expected to fill quickly so register today to avoid missing out!
