Registrations for the Winter Sports Camp have been filled!

Disabled Wintersport Australia is hosting the 2019 Winter Sports Camp in Jindayne, NSW from Friday 5th - Sunday 7th July, with the support of Blind Sports NSW.

The camp is open to ages 12+ and participants will have the option of experiencing skiing or snowboarding, with specialised instructors on hand to provide support throughout the camp. It is important to note that for athletes wishing to advance in snow-related activities, there is currently no blind snowboarding competition included in the Paralympic disciplines.

Bus transport will be available from Sydney and campers can utilise their NDIS funds to attend the camp.

The cost for the camp is $500 per participant (actual cost is $750 however Blind Sports NSW is subsidising $250 per participant through grant funding). Camp fees are inclusive of the following:

• Accommodation
• Transport
• Lift passes, lessons and guiding
• Ski/snowboard and equipment hire
• National park entry
• Meals
