Blind Sports NSW features at inaugural International White Cane Day Festival!

Blind Sports NSW attended the inaugural International White Cane Day Festival at Gosford on 15th October to showcase the benefits associated with taking part in sport and recreation activities.

The day was coordinated by Vision Australia for over 60 adult clients who came along to experience the range of activities on offer.

Blind Sports NSW featured adaptive cricket, football and tennis sessions to encourage participation in social recreation activities and promote the positive long-term impact this can have on greater physical and mental well-being.

Congratulations to Vision Australia on a successful event and a big thank you to NBN News on the Central Coast who captured a feature piece of the sports activities on the day.
